The following is a list of inspection types and services we offer:
- Pre-purchase/listing home inspections that meet or exceed the Canadian Association of Home and Property Inspectors (BC) standards.
- Pre-delivery/new home construction inspections.
- Thermal/infrared imaging.
- Indoor air quality assessments.
- Wood burning appliance inspections for insurance purposes.
- Commercial building inspections as per ASTM standard E2018 guide for commercial property condition assessments.
- General building consulting.
The prices for inspections are as follows:
Attention: Current inspection price list effective the 15th of June 2010
- Pre-purchase/listing home inspections
- Within half an hour of Vernon $375 plus GST
- Within one hour of Vernon $400 plus GST
- Up to two hours from Vernon $475 plus GST
- More than 2 hours away would be a per job quote.
- Pre-delivery inspections
- Price quote per job, but similar to a pre-purchase inspection price.
- Thermal imaging
- Price quote per job. When done in conjunction with a home inspection, the fee would be $20 plus GST/HST per picture printed
- Indoor air quality assessments
- Wood burning appliances
- Base price of $150 plus GST/HST plus some travel expenses if more than half an hour one way from Vernon.
- If the WETT inspection is done in combination with the home inspection a fee of only $80 plus GST/HST would apply
- Commercial buildings
- General consulting
- $100 plus GST per hour, minimum of 1hour. Plus traveling time if more than half an hour one way.
